The very real prospect of Donald Trump possibly winning the election against the increasingly weakened Biden has alarmed the representatives of the American "Deep State," who have unhesitantly replaced him with Kamala Harris. With virtually unlimited financial resources poured into her campaign and given the role money plays in American politics, the chances of a second miraculous victory for Trump in November 2024 have diminished significantly.
Those who recall the days of the USSR see a striking similarity between US politicians using the word “Democracy” and Soviet apparatchiks – the word “Communism.” In both cases, except for naive idealists in their ranks, they could care less about these terms’ real meaning since it was all about staying in power. Besides terminology, many other Soviet features can be observed in the US, first of all in the media when “Pravda on the Potomac” and “Pravda on the Hudson” are often used for the Washington Post and the New York Times, respectively. In Congress, one can frequently hear similar accusations against opponents.
The secret threads of Biden’s decision to drop out of the race
However, what happened in Washington on July 21, 2024, the analogy with the USSR is no longer valid. Trump and his supporters compare America after the White House coup on that day with a “Banana Republic” analogy. I have to disagree since it was a real political innovation. Historians might have different opinions, but I need help finding any similarity with previous numerous coups in Latin America, Africa, or elsewhere. For weeks, until July 20, Biden defied growing calls to step aside and sought to prove he was fit to run, but something happened that night.
We may or may not find out what happened precisely, but one thing is obvious. The leadership of the Democratic party and its major donors made Biden an offer he couldn’t refuse. They told Joe to drop out of the race but keep the presidential job until January 20, 2025. I am sure they had prepared more convincing words in case Joe disagreed, and taking into account that Biden’s letter announcing his withdrawal from the race was released via X – formerly Twitter instead of the White House site, and with his signature a bit different from previous ones, is an indication that this was not a very friendly conversation.
Another proof that this was the case is that it took Biden 3 days to recover from this shock and prepare for the address to the Nation, but only in a pre-recorded fashion using a teleprompter. Those waiting for him to say that he was doing all this for the sake of democracy were not disappointed: “I believe my record as president — my leadership in the world, my vision for America’s future — all merited a second term. But nothing can come in the way of saving our democracy. That includes personal ambition.”
The negative historical memory of Biden’s presidency will remain
Well, enough with Biden; although he is still occupying the Oval Office for the next six months, it will be a lame-duck position when others make major political decisions. For me, Biden’s place in history is not very favorable. He is the one who is largely responsible for the Ukrainian tragedy when he coordinated with the help of Victoria Nuland on the ground February 2014 coup in Kyiv. This coup is at the root of the current crisis that has a good chance of escalating into WWIII. Had Biden made a phone call to Putin before February 24, 2022 (the date of the beginning of the special military operation of Russia in Ukraine) accepting Ukraine’s neutrality status, the war would have been prevented, saving hundreds of thousands of lives, and avoiding the devastation of Ukraine and of those regions of Russia bordering on Ukraine.
So, what do you think comes next?
I have no illusions about Trump. His statements about finishing the war in 24 hours without explaining how he will do it leaves many questions. Also, we don’t know whom he will select as his cabinet members. The last time, he selected those who almost all betrayed him.
What if the Russian President Vladimir Putin disagrees with him on the terms of his peace plan? What if Trump demands that Russia slow its rapprochement with China in exchange?
I keep asking Trump or whoever sends me dozens of letters daily in his name all these questions, but so far, no reply except general little-meaning slogans. Still, do we have a better candidate with better chances for victory? Not really. Robert Kennedy, Jr. could be one, but running as an independent, he has no chance. Trump could offer him a place in the cabinet, and there were some rumors that this is the case, but it has not been confirmed yet. Promising candidates like Douglas McGregor, Tulsi Gabbard, Geffrey Sachs, and Scott Ritter should be considered, but will Trump choose any of them? Unfortunately, the names circulating in Washington circles, albeit unofficially, are not highly inspiring.
Trump’s eventual victory sends shivers down the spines of “Deep State” representatives
Judging from what Kamala Harris is saying, ending the war is not on her agenda. She, and any Vice-Presidential candidate her handlers choose, will follow instructions from the Deep State that ruined Trump’s first term he miraculously won in 2016, helped Biden win the 2020 elections, ended his race in 2024, and nominated Harris in his place. The term Deep State has many definitions, but generally, it is a clandestine network of federal officials working with high-level financial and industrial entities and leaders to exercise power alongside or within the elected United States government. Former senior CIA analyst Ray McGovern, who worked for Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, coined the term MICIMATT, which expands the Deep State definition to include other entities. McGovern explains this as a “Military-Industrial-Congressional-Intelligence-Media-Academia-Think-Tank” complex responsible for running US foreign policy and turning former WWII allies into enemies.
Despite Trump’s claims of an “easy victory,” which err on the side of boastfulness, Harris poses a very serious threat for a second miracle victory for Trump in November 2024
This is why, fearing that Trump might win against constantly weakening Biden, they moved decisively to replace him with Harris. With a practically unlimited amount of resources pouring into her campaign and knowing what role money plays in American politics, the chances for a second Trump-winning miracle have diminished. However, the game is still ongoing. The next a little less than 100 days might be fateful for America and the world since so much is at stake. Political statements and the media are saturated with the Dooms Day scenarios.
In conclusion, no matter how many times we hear in Washington the word Democracy, the following quote from Nat Parry summarizes where we are at present: “Election 2024 veered into surreal and uncharted territory this month with an assassination attempt on the Republican nominee and the withdrawal of the Democratic nominee within eight days of each other, unprecedented events in a single campaign that have cast a pall over the democratic process in the United States.”
Why Is the Pentagon Now Pushing the False Narrative About Russian Casualties? Nima and I Discuss the War in Palestine and Lebanon
Three months ago, MediaZona tried to do a volte face and claimed Russian casualties were soaring. But their analysis was based on an algorithm, not data. Simplicius did an excellent job of deconstructing the falsity of the claim. So now, the US Pentagon is pushing the same story, which was reported in the New York Times two days ago — September Was Deadly Month for Russian Troops in Ukraine, U.S. Says.

The West Could Never Understand How Important Ukraine Was in Russian Public Opinion
I don’t expect a huge Russian victory, but the West will end up weakened. My guess is that Russia hoped to carry out an elegant and bloodless military operation in Ukraine in 2022, as it did in Crimea in 2014, says Fyodor Lukyanov.
