It’s The American Way of War For Whom the Bell Tolls

The insane suicidal, futile mass bloodbaths of World War I were more than a century ago! Who but an obscure aging war history buff could possibly imagine those long-forgotten nightmares could possibly be repeated in our so-enlightened, brilliant, competent age with such Shining Political Titans like Joe Biden and Antony Blinken in charge?

How could things possibly go wrong when our strategy was being set by the brilliant intellect of Jake Sullivan with his endless worthless absurd academic degrees in “strategy” and military theology eclipsing anything Eisenhower, Patton, MacArthur or Bradley had to offer?

But It is now virtually official Yuri Lutsenko, the former Attorney General of Ukraine, stated on January 8 to Russia’s RIA Novosti news agency that Ukraine has suffered at least half a million military casualties.

This includes wounded as well, but the overall figures are almost certainly far higher than that. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s desperate efforts to conscript old Ukrainians over the age of 40 is a measure that Britain in 1917-18 and Germany in 1944-45 only turned to in absolute desperation after even larger casualties had been suffered in their own catastrophically bungled offensives.

Why did all those brave, patriotic, Ukrainian soldiers have to die for nothing? They were served up as cannon fodder in long-telegraphed, obvious, inept direct frontal attacks after being given minimal training and no exercises in the kind of defenses and opposition they were certain to face by utterly stupid, worthless leaders who made the Polish generals of 1939 look like Napoleon in contrast.

Outstanding and truly honest and courageous American military analysts led by Colonel Doug Macgregor, Larry C. Johnson, Scott Ritter and many others predicted this catastrophe, as did I.

Now of course, the castrated eunuchs and geldings of the US Mainstream Media led by the New York Times (the Washington Post is actually finally nervously inching to be a little better – Thank you, Jeff Bezos) are trying to shift the blame – as usual on to the poor Ukrainians.

Now it is perfectly true that Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief four-star General Valerii Zaluzhnyi makes World War I generals Sir Douglas Haig, Ferdinand Foch and even Robert Nivelle look like tactical geniuses and pillars of inspiring leadership by contrast. But it is precisely because Zelenskyy’s military echelon was so ignorant, inexperienced, stupid and useless that the role of their American “advisers’ ‘ – in reality puppet-masters – is so revealing and so ominous.

Ukraine was, as former US Ambassadors Michael Gfoeller and David Rundell have again pointed out, has had the cornucopias of America and NATO’s so modern, sophisticated, supposedly invincible weapons lavished on her. 

US HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, German Leopard Main battle tanks and 155mm howitzers were lavished on Kiev in generous abundance. They all failed. They were all lost. They were all wasted. 

NATO”s own always far too small and limited arsenals and ammunition magazines were depleted to virtually zero levels that will take at least five years – which they do not have – at maximum rates of production – which no one is attempting – to make up.

It is one of the greatest blowbacks in history, akin to Adolf Hitler’s insanely stupid invasion of the Soviet Union in June 1941 and his even more stupid and suicidal declaration of war on the United States as well six months later.

Instead of destroying Russia – as America’s Genius National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and his chorus of neocon and neo-lib advisers’ and admirers so universally proclaimed (This means You Lindsay Graham), it is the conventional military capabilities and deterrent credibility of the United States and NATO in Europe that have been destroyed instead.

No one in Washington, no one in the Pentagon, no one on Capitol Hill and certainly no one in the Biden administration loses a moment of sleep for the millions of loved ones of those half a million dead Ukrainian soldiers who were served up on the ravenous altar of Moloch as a futile Blood Sacrifice for a mad Worthless Dream – the destruction of Russia by using  their country as a controlled, bewildered, brainwashed, manipulated puppet .

But the Bell is Now Tolling for all of them too.

For the United States today has finally become what Mao Zedong so famously called it nearly 70 years ago. It is now indeed exposed to the world as a Paper Tiger – and worse.

For if the elected political leaders of the United States and their hundreds of brightly decorated generals in their crisp and shiny uniforms do not lose a moment’s sleep over shaping, approving and urging the tactics, battles and strategy that have already killed half a million Ukrainians with no end in sight.

Therefore, can anyone doubt for a second that they will bring equal suffering, ruin, horror and annihilation on the military forces and huge civilian population of America too?

That progression is now inevitable.

Adolf Hitler’s approval of the famous Luftwaffe Blitz on Britain led to an Anglo-American Bomber combined counter offensive that killed more than 12 times as many German civilians – 600,000 compared to the 50,000 they managed to slaughter in Britain.

What goes around comes around.

Isaac Newton’s Third Law of Motion applies remorselessly throughout human history: Stupid, criminal, brutal and plain evil national aggressions and crimes ultimately rebound on their perpetrators – not with equal force, but with exponential destructiveness and power: Until there is nothing left.

The German and Japanese peoples learned that lesson in 1945, which was Year Zero for both those arrogant, militaristic societies whose leaders believed they had unlimited Right and Power to rape and ravage the entire world.

No one is exempt from this remorseless rule.

Not even the United States of America.
