Dear Friends,
Humanity for Peace, a global movement passionately devoted to promoting harmony, abolishing violence and ending nuclear war, invites you to a momentous call to action rally tomorrow from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. near the United Nations headquarters in the heart of New York City.
I, along with Scott Ritter and other renowned peace advocates, will be speaking at this historic event where we will raise a united voice against the dire threat of nuclear warfare.
Our planet is on the brink, and the danger of nuclear war looms larger than ever before. Amidst these rising tensions, we refuse to stand idle and let humanity perish at the hands of a few. We believe in the power of unity, of collective action transcending ideologies, and this is our rallying cry to all those who value life on Earth.
We come together to remind the world that nuclear war should never be fought, can never be won, and is the ultimate crime against humanity. Peace is not an abstract ideal, rather it’s the only path to human survival and progress.
Please join us tomorrow and stand with Humanity for Peace, and let’s remind the world that the power of people is stronger than the people in power. The future of our planet and humanity is at stake, and we need your support.
The rally will be held tomorrow from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Hammarskjold Plaza, East 47th Street and 2nd Avenue, New York City. If you can’t attend, view the livestream here.
Please support our cause by making a generous tax-deductible donation to the Universal Church of Freedom Peace & Justice and/or Occupy Peace. Also, please share this message with your network, spread the word, and join the global movement for peace. United We Stand, Divided We Die.

Qi Book Talk: The Culture of the Second Cold War by Richard Sakwa
Richard Sakwa has for many years been one of the most distinguished and insightful observers of relations between the West and Russia, and one of the leading critics of Western policy. In this talk with Anatol Lieven, director of the Eurasia program at the Quincy Institute, Sakwa discusses his book, The Culture of the Second Cold War (Anthem 2025). The book examines the cultural-political trends and inheritances that underlie the new version of a struggle that we thought we had put behind us in 1989. Sakwa describes both the continuities from the first Cold War and the ways in which new technologies have reshaped strategies and attitudes.
