‘The Answer Remains The Same’

“I wrote an article some time ago entitled, ‘Ukraine. The Only Solution”. This article outlined what I believed to be the only possible solution to the Ukraine question if the objects of the SMO were to be achieved, and the future of Ukraine and the Russian borders made safe for future generations. Without going into detail, which I do in the article, that ‘only’ solution which can guarantee these essentials is the return of Ukraine to the Russian Federation.

Shock, horror! I have been pushing this proposal wherever I can, but it is getting little traction, however, recent events surrounding Kursk amplifies perfectly the need for Russia to implement this strategy. Now, just maybe, this proposal will gain traction in the political arena. A recent speech by Dmitry Medvedev actually said as much given the behaviour of the criminals in Kiev and their western sponsors. There is no other solution. None.

Another eminent individual I was in correspondence with on this very subject stated that whilst the idea might have some validity, it was not realistic. Of course, I argued the point, however, I suggest that the recent incursion by Ukrainian and western forces onto Russian territory makes this proposition more realistic today than ever before.

President Putin, himself, has now declared that there will no longer be any possibility of negotiation with Kiev, but once again, as I stated in the article, and on subsequent occasions, what exactly does Kiev, or the west for that matter, have to negotiate with? Nothing. They have been resoundingly defeated on the battlefield, and they are economically (and morally for that matter) bankrupt, so please explain how the word negotiation has ever had any real relevance. The very mention of it is an absurdity. Totally unrealistic.

I have no doubt that this proposition will have traction amongst the Russian people, after all, Ukraine, in terms of its history, its culture and economy, has always been inextricably linked to Russia. Those who would argue this point, quite frankly, are clutching at straws. The reality is very different.

So now, following the Kursk incident, this is a proposition which should be central to Russia’s position, given that it perfectly underlines the view that neither Ukraine nor its western allies can be trusted in any future discussions over the fate of Ukraine. It is hardly a ‘fate’ that Ukraine, with Russia will actually have a future, where its people can live in peace, free from outside interference – free from subjugation, economic slavery and no more will their men be sent to the slaughter in pursuit of some far-off country’s fantasy.

To get the answers to the problems which currently exist in this region alone, in the Baltic, Georgia and in fact throughout Europe itself, the common link which exists is the expansion of NATO, and the poison of Russophobia spread by the bought and paid for media, all leading back to a cabal in Washington whose sole strategy is the destruction of Russia, taking possession (stealing) of her vast natural resources and dismembering of the Russian Federation. This is no fantasy – this is a very real proposal.

A permanent destabilising of the countries sitting on the Russian border has not happened by chance. The unreal threat of a Russian invasion of these countries is permanently being promoted by the Washington backed media, and NGOs, financed by US various agencies ensure that the political leadership is sympathetic to the western cause, thus, chaos and political unrest is never far away.

Ukraine has been the focal point of US interventionist policy for many years, and the dire situation we see today is the result. Russia must ensure that this can never happen again. Her borders must be secured. For this to happen, only a return to the Russian Federation for Ukraine has any real chance of guaranteeing this and ending the disaster that is totally enveloping the country and threatening to widen the zone of conflict. Washington’s perfect storm must be neutralised, and order returned to the region. Then, and only then, will order be restored, and the rebuilding of Ukraine, its economy and infrastructure can begin. Believe me, there is no other way.
