There are no surprises in the current developments of the war and the ongoing tragedy and current crisis: Everything that is happening is what honest and competent authorities and observers - of whom there are indeed many outside the farcical so-called mainstream US and British media - have repeatedly predicted and monitored.
The ponderous, obvious, long signaled Ukrainian “counter-offensive” that was supposed to punch massive holes in Russian formations has been attempted and has totally fizzled. Like Britain’s catastrophic offensive on the Somme in July 1916 during World war I, this was so long predicted, urged and lovingly anticipated and then produced minimal effects for the same reason.
Like the Somme, far from draining Russia dry or punching a hole in the lines that would lead to immediate and total victory, as the psychopath and delusional General Sir Douglas Haig imagined, it only succeeded in draining its own side of precious lives and soldiers instead.
As for the doomed young men of Britain on the Somme, an entire generation of young Ukrainian men has been fed into the ravenous meatgrinder of war, fed by the vanity and empty dreams of worthless political leaders far away and their own useless commanders.
And as on the Somme, the fearful realities of a new technology of high firepower, accurate weapons battlefield was simply ignored.
No one making policy in the Biden administration and their armchair warrior fellow Devils (in the Dostoyevskian sense) in NATO and kowtowing, puppet military establishments throughout Western Europe plus Poland cares about this.
And it is also a safe bet that not one of those people has wasted a moment’s sleep or a single tear for the dead and maimed Ukrainian soldiers, their parents, wives, lovers and brothers, sisters and children.
As long as the war continues, as long as the comedian Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his clique can be propped up in Kiev and as long as senile drooling fools in the parliaments of the West like former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi remain convinced that Zelenskyy is a greater purer, far greater leader than Abraham Lincoln or Winston Churchill, this state of affairs can still be maintained.
Even if the ramshackle Ukrainian military organization, whose troops are only held in place by the most vicious and savage, draconian measures finally disintegrates from the firepower onslaught and its own monumental incompetence and corruption, not to worry, for Plan B is already in place.
This is Plan B: With the eager compliance and encouragement of the political and military authorities in Poland, elements of elite US units have already been modestly deployed in the eastern part of Poland ready to intervene with the ever-eager Poles – for humanitarian resources of course, in Western Ukraine. Insanely, Britain has even sent uranium-depleted a munitions to Ukraine, so great is the obsession with killing Russians and if that makes parts of Ukraine uninhabitable,
Well, they’re only more Slavs after all aren’t they? Nobody really important: Just like the 750,000 Iraqi children who died from the impact of Western sanctions and whose deaths Secretary of State Madeleine Albright casually shrugged off in a public comment as well worth the price of getting rid of Saddam Hussein.
Once, on a 2000 official flight from Moscow to Croatia, while recovering from a significant hangover, I nearly vomited over Albright at point blank range – but let that pass.
But while Russia is still prepared to operate with relative restraint in this catastrophic war: The refusal of the West to rein in its murderous and doomed dupes and puppets has led to further serious strategic reassessment in Moscow. After all, Russia refrained from war and sought a peaceful resolution of all security issues with Ukraine for eight years after
Ukraine’s genuine, real and tolerant democracy was openly toppled by Western leaders in the 2014 Maidan Coup.
And it cannot be repeated often enough, current US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland was in the streets handing out cookies to the revolutionaries. And 2008 Republican presidential candidate and supposed US National Icon Senator John McCain screamed publicly and hysterically in the Ukrainian capital for violent revolution to overthrow a legitimate democratically elected European government.
In conclusion, the Great Ukrainian Counter Offensive has already failed. Totally. It has cost multiple thousands of more precious Ukrainian lives. For nothing.
However, the Grand Strategy of the Biden administration remains shining and unspoiled in the heads of its Masterminds. That is to draw the Polish military and actual US combat forces into the war to allegedly further “crumble” the Russian military – as they imagine.
To counter this, Russia has publicly deployed tactical nuclear forces in Belarus – a response that President Vladimir Putin never considered for a second for nearly a quarter century in power.
Now the most sober and respected of Russian geopolitical thinkers and strategists are openly discussing whether – or even when! – they will need to launch an annihilating preemptive nuclear strike against the United States and its allies to prevent an even greater nuclear holocaust that would incinerate the entire world.
All this could be ended tomorrow: And it would not threaten the prosperity or survival of the West at all.
On the contrary, such an Awakening, such a Repentance by the Powers in Washington, Brussels and London would save the West, not doom it.
